Privacy policy

What we collect

Scrivia collects your email address when you create an account. We also collect the session summaries you enter to generate notes. We do not store the generated notes on our servers.

How we use your information

Your email is used to manage your account and send essential product communications. Session summaries are sent to our AI provider to generate your note and are not stored after the note is returned.

PHI and HIPAA

Scrivia is not a covered entity under HIPAA. We strongly recommend that you do not enter any personally identifiable patient information into Scrivia. Use initials, client numbers, or anonymized descriptions only.

Third party services

We use Clerk for authentication, Stripe for payments, and Anthropic for AI note generation. Each has their own privacy policy governing their handling of data.
